Samantha specialises in advising on all aspects of divorce and separation, in particular arrangements for children and financial claims, both in a formal court setting and also through NCDR. Samantha strongly believes that divorcing couples should be given the opportunity to navigate the legal process with dignity and without unnecessary conflict, and is known for her calm and approachable style.
Samantha is at the forefront of the move towards the development of joint advice (‘One Couple, One Lawyer’) in England & Wales, being one of the two co-founders of The Divorce Surgery. She was awarded the Government’s Women in Innovation Award in 2021 and is a regular contributor to the BBC and other media.
Career
Samantha was called to the Bar in 2006 and is a graduate of the University of Cambridge. She trained as a solicitor at Freshfields before transferring to the Bar, giving her a corporate law background.
