Sara is a qualified solicitor and is a Director at Bond Turner Solicitors. She heads up Clinical Negligence and Serious Injury Departments. She has over 15 years’ experience in this complex area of law.

Sara specialises in areas of clinical negligence including wrongful birth claims, brain injury and fatal accidents with her thorough and sympathetic approach ensuring a successful outcome for the clients that she takes on. Sara can strategically manage complex cases with both serious and subtle injuries, working with her network of medical experts to dissect every case for the maximum compensation.

Sara is recognised for the relationship she builds with all of her clients and their families at what is the most difficult time of their life. Sara can provide additional support for her clients, signposting them to rehabilitation services such as case management, calling on her extensive network.

Sara also undertakes Public Inquiry work and is some of the families who were affected by the crimes of Lucy Letby in the Thirlwall Inquiry. Her team is also acting for 170 healthcare working in the Covid Healthcare Workers claim in the RCJ.

Career

Sara began her training at a well-respected claimant clinical negligence firm, moving to a large national defendant firm on qualification. This provides her with a unique perspective, and the ability to look at cases from both sides.

Sara was Principal Lawyer, and Head of Medical Negligence at a large claimant practice for 9 years before moving to Bond Turner to grow and develop the department.

Sara has been ranked as Band 2 in Chambers and Partners since 2017 and recommended by The Legal 500 for many years, starting in 2016.

Sara often acts as a key spokesperson in press, having featured on Sky News, ITV and BBC TV and radio raising awareness about her cases.

As well as a robust legal knowledge and expertise, Sara is well versed in the medical landscape and works closely with medical experts on a daily basis.

Sara is recognised for her excellence in the field by the Law Society and is accredited and recommended on their clinical negligence panel for over 7 years. She is also acknowledged for her specialism by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) as a Senior Litigator, and has held this accolade for over 10 years.
