Practice Areas
Sarah has 25+ years’ experience in advising charities and leads the Charities and Social Enterprise Department at Edwards & Co. She has particular experience of governing documents such as articles of association, group structures and trading entities, social enterprises and on mergers and transfers of charitable undertakings and collaborations and in the drafting of many of the documents used in these transactions.
She is a lecturer and tutor in charity, commercial and company law at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queens University, Belfast and an author of Jordan’s Charities Administration Service.
Sarah has been a governance trainer for the Boardroom Apprentice Programme since its inception and is a recipient of the Queens Award for Voluntary Service through NI Hospice.
