Mr. S. Seetharaman is a renowned international trade lawyer specialising in WTO laws such as WTO Dispute Settlement, market access, foreign trade policy, trade remedies (antidumping duties, countervailing duties and safeguard measures), disciplines on subsidies, agriculture, customs valuation, SPS and TBT measures, GATS, etc. He has handled more than 250 antidumping cases in which he has represented clients from India and around the globe seeking or opposing institution of trade remedy measures. He is also recognised for his expertise in competition & antitrust laws.

He has also advised clients on a wide range of issues covering foreign trade policy, foreign exchange management, etc. As a litigating lawyer, he has appeared before the adjudicating authorities in various departments of the government, Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Appellate Tribunal for Foreign Exchange (ATFE), Competition Commission of India, Competition Appellate Tribunal, High Courts and the Supreme Court in a number of cases.
