Mr. Wu is one of the region’s leading litigation and investigations attorneys. He focuses on the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.K. Bribery Act, misconduct, corruption, bribery, fraud, sanctions, trade controls, national security, data privacy, cybersecurity, securities enforcement, responsible business conduct and other regulatory matters. Mr. Wu also advises boards of directors and audit committees of public-listed companies in allegations of financial irregularities and accounting fraud, including revenue recognition and falsified transactions.
As an individual, he has been appointed as the Independent Monitor by the World Bank and other Multilateral Development Banks for state-owned enterprises and public-listed companies to assess compliance following debarment for fraudulent practices and integrity violations.
Mr. Wu has acted in a wide range of cross-border disputes involving governments, state-owned enterprises, multinational corporations and financial institutions in U.S., U.K., Asia and offshore court litigation as well as international arbitration.
Mr. Wu is a thought leader on investigations and dispute resolution in the Asia-Pacific region. He has been invited by governments and industry groups to speak at international conferences, and is an author for leading publications.
