Silke Goldberg is a Partner in our Global Energy group and the Global Head of ESG

Silke has 20 years' experience of working in the energy sector, advising clients in relation to renewable power, energy infrastructure and climate change issues internationally. She has advised on leading wind, solar, BESS and interconnector projects and transactions in multiple jurisdictions across the globe. She advises clients on all aspects of European and U.K. energy law and industry regulations. Silke has been on secondment to Hydrogen Energy International, Cheniere and National Grid. She brings a wealth of regulatory knowledge and practical application of energy regulation and findings.

In her ESG practice, Silke advises companies on climate change, including carbon markets, as well as the EU and UK regulatory framework for ESG disclosures and reporting, helping clients to define and implement their ESG strategy.

Silke is admitted to practice in Germany, France and England as well as a member of the Irish law society. She advises in English, Dutch, German and French. Silke is a professor at Queen Mary University of London where she teaches energy sector regulation and a visiting professor at the University of Groningen.
