Simon Burnett is a dynamic and creative lawyer that was a litigator at Gilbert + Tobin and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP before co-founding Balance Legal Capital with Robert Rothkopf in 2015. Simon has 20+ years extensive experience litigating and funding commercial disputes and class actions in Australia and the UK. Simon is responsible for Balance’s Australian investments, investor relations and Balance’s overall strategic direction. Simon regularly writes and speaks on litigation and litigation finance issues and is a director of the Australian Association of Litigation Funders.
