Practice Areas
Simon Laberge practises with the Labour, Employment and Human Rights group. He is involved in every area of labour and employment law, be it collective agreements or individual contracts of employment, including human rights, labour standards and occupational health and safety.
Simon represents clients before the civil courts and administrative tribunals in matters involving dismissal, grievance adjudication, certification and occupational health and safety.
He has solid experience in the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, services and social affairs sectors. He works closely with private and public sector employers and is regularly asked for strategic advice. He also often acts as spokesperson at the bargaining table.
Simon is invited to deliver training at all kinds of companies on a variety of topics, including health and safety, the duty to accommodate, surveillance, reduction of costs related to employment injuries, harassment, the impact of social media on the workplace, etc.
