Takuo Hirose, a Capital Markets and M&A partner, has been involved in a number of corporate finance cases in both International and Japanese Capital Markets, representing Japanese and foreign issuers and managers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities. He also has experience with domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions and other international and domestic corporate matters, including private equity transactions, MBO/LBOs, joint venture and wholly owned-subsidiary transactions, licensing and technical collaboration agreements, distributorship agreements and litigation.
Career
Started career with Anderson Mori & Tomotsune (1997-); becoming Partner (2005-) and Member of Management Committee (2023-). Seconded to Shearman & Sterling, New York and Tokyo (2003- 2004) and a leading Japanese investment bank (2004-2005).
