Practice mainly in the field of capital markets, particularly focusing on J-REITs, infrastructure funds and other structured instruments; also advise aircraft/ship financing and financial regulation and various M&A transactions in finance and real estate sectors. Recent involved transactions include IPO of Tokaido REIT, global follow-on offerings of Nippon Prologis REIT, merger of MORI TRUST Hotel Reit, Inc. into MORI TRUST Sogo Reit, Inc., TOB for Invesco Office J-REIT Inc. by its sponsor as a white knight, issuance of Japanese first IFRS-compliant perpetual subordinated notes by SoftBank Group, global IPO and global follow-on offerings of SoftBank, IPO and squeeze out transactions of Japanese first infrastructure fund, Takara Leben Infrastructure Fund. Also advise regularly various financial institutions, such as mega banks, asset management companies and securities firms on financial regulation and corporate strategies.

Qualified and joined Mori Hamada & Matsumoto in 2000, promoted to a partner in 2009. Seconded to Slaughter and May, London, in 2005-2006.
