Tom is a senior junior instructed both to lead and as part of a team in commercial disputes (Court and arbitral), with a particular focus on professional liability, civil fraud, technology, construction and financial services disputes. He has significant experience of international and offshore work in a wide variety of jurisdictions (including Bermuda, BVI, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, Hong Kong, the Middle East) and arbitrations under a number of different rules (including ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL).
His recent instructions include acting for European tech entities and individuals in a 10 week trial in a claim brought by IBM (one of the Lawyer’s Top 20 Cases for 2024) and a dispute arising out of the sale of Sheffield United Football Club (one of The Lawyer’s Top 20 cases for 2023). He was nominated for IT/IP Junior of the Year for 2024.
