Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini specializes in restructuring, reorganization and insolvency administration. He is regularly appointed as administrator and insolvency administrator by the Charlottenburg, Cottbus, Potsdam and Cologne Local Courts.
He also acts as a restructuring agent and advises companies in crisis situations. He has particular expertise in the areas of going concern and in the preparation and implementation of complex insolvency plans.
Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini is also an honorary professor at the Business Law Department of the Berlin School of Economics and Law.
In addition, he has published numerous publications on insolvency law, including handbooks and commentaries.
Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini ist partner at GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB and GÖRG Insolvenzverwaltung Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten mbB.
Before joining GÖRG, he was a partner in a renowned business law firm in Berlin/Cologne for more than 20 years, where he worked as an expert in the field of insolvency and reorganization law.
After studying law in Bonn and completing his legal clerkship in Cologne, Prof. Dr. Torsten Martini was admitted to the bar in 1999. In 2007, he was appointed as an insolvency administrator for the first time and in 2009, he acquired his specialist qualification in insolvency law. In 2013, he then completed his doctorate on an insolvency law topic at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel.
