Torsten Schmitt focuses on general corporate and private equity work, as well as domestic and international M&A and joint ventures. He advises Luxembourg and foreign based asset managers, (real estate) funds as well as multinationals on reorganisations. Torsten has significant experience in Luxembourg law governed incentive plans.
Before TS&P, Torsten has practiced in the M&A / Corporate groups of the Luxembourg office of a US law firm since its inception in 2010, having previously worked for prominent law firms in Luxembourg, London and Paris.
Since 2006, Torsten is admitted to the Saarbrücken Bar (Germany) and to the Luxembourg Bar (now List I).
Torsten holds a First and Second State Examination in Law, Saarbrücken (Germany) as well as a law degree in International Law from the University of Nice – Sophia Antipolis – IDPD (France).
