Tracy spent the last few years as an employment law specialist at a large international law firm, advising clients on complex local and cross-border employment matters. She also regularly represents clients at the employment tribunal and labour court, with her prior experience as a prosecutor for the National Prosecuting Authority making her a unique asset in the courtroom.

Tracy’s practice is focused on employment law and dispute resolution. She finds practical, commercial and risk-savvy solutions for clients using international and local best practice.

Career

Tracy has represented clients across multiple industries, including airline, banking, hospitality, luxury goods, manufacturing, mining, pharmaceutical, social media, technology, and wholesale and retail. Her broad experience ranges across advising and assisting clients with business restructurings and transfers, due diligence investigations, workforce planning, drafting contracts and policies, employment equity compliance, workplace investigations, terminations, employment litigation and general immigration advisory work. She also has extensive experience managing multi-jurisdictional employment projects dealing with general cross-border employment advice, compliance and investigations, reorganisations and restructurings and post transfer integration.

Although Tracy typically represents corporate clients or executives involved in employment disputes, she has a heart for people and making a difference. She has been a member of SASLAW since 2016 and regularly represents indigent litigants on a pro-bono basis.
