Tsuyoshi is the managing partner of the firm's Tokyo office. He specializes in private equity deals, including complex leveraged buyouts, acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions. Tsuyoshi regularly works with clients in transactions across Asia and in Japan, and has since the financial crisis represented clients as lead counsel on transactions with an aggregate value of more than $60 billion, including four of the five largest private equity deals in Japan since 2008, and the largest private equity deal and leveraged buyout in Asia ever. Recently, Tsuyoshi has been working with clients to assess and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their deals.
