Vinod Dhall was the founding Member and acting Chairman of the Competition Commission of India (CCI). He laid the groundwork for the Commission by preparing the draft regulations, framework for competitive analysis and capacity building; earlier in government, he was key in the enactment of the Competition Act itself.
