In addition, Wai Loon also helps clients in drafting/reviewing their construction contracts. He also has construction management advisory experience which involve various types of construction contracts, including JKR (Public Works Department) form of contracts, IEM Contracts, PAM Conditions of Contract, Red, Silver and Yellow FIDIC Conditions of Contracts for various types of construction, infrastructure and energy related project works undertaken in Malaysia and abroad.

Wai Loon's recent publications include a co-authored book titled 'Lam on Construction Claims in Malaysia' [LexisNexis Malaysia], a co-authored book titled ‘Construction Adjudication In Malaysia’ [3rd Edition, Sweet & Maxwell Malaysia] published in March 2022, and a co-authored Chapter on ‘Arbitration In Malaysia’ published in the text titled ‘International Commercial Arbitration In Asia’ [3rd Edition, 2013, JurisNet LLC]. His text ‘Construction Adjudication In Malaysia’ [2nd Edition, 2018] has been referred to and mentioned in more than 50 reported judgments rendered by the Malaysian Courts on issues relating to statutory adjudications under CIPAA.
