Yvette Dissel practices employment law, representing both national and international clients in various legal matters regarding e.g. co-determination, restructurings and the position of the managing director. In addition, Yvette frequently advises on employment law aspects of transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions and outsourcing (including TUPE). She provides legal advice to various market segments with a special focus on commercial and professional services. She is also known for her acting on behalf of works councils of large companies.
Career
Yvette Dissel is partner at Boontje Advocaten & Mediators. She is an attorney at law since 1996 and joined Boontje Advocaten & Mediators in 2014. Almost from the start of her career, Yvette has exclusively worked in the area of employment law. She is the head of both the international and restructuring and co-determination department of Boontje Advocaten & Mediators and Board Member (Europe Chair) of the Employment Law Alliance (ELA). She often lectures at various renowned educational institutions such as the ‘Academie voor de rechtspraktijk’ and is one of the editors of TRA, a distinguished employment law magazine in the Netherlands, and the Mr., a magazine for Dutch lawyers. Yvette also contributed to an important publication on co-determination.
