Zac has been involved in substantial and complex litigation in all of his practice areas, and is often instructed in cases where those areas intersect. He has appeared in the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, every division of the High Court, the EAT, the CAT and in the International Court of Justice. Recent and ongoing (non-confidential) instructions include acting for the State of Palestine in Advisory Opinion Proceedings in the ICJ; SMO v TikTok (representative action brought on behalf of all children in Europe against TikTok group companies); Oldknow v Evans (claim against Labour Party arising from leaked report concerning anti-semitism); Gale & Ors v Yorkshire Cricket Club (proceedings arising out of dismissals made in connection with Azeem Rafiq racism scandal) and acting for Al Haq in a challenge to Arms Licenses for export to Israel.
