Career

In 2020, Zita Albert joined CERHA HEMPEL as a partner and has more than 16 years’ experience of advising on complex cross-border and local transactions, corporate restructurings and capital market transactions. She is a well-known and highly regarded M&A expert on the local market. Zita has remarkable M&A experience in the telecommunication sector, energy sector, and is also known as an expert on the field of biotech transactions. In the past, Zita has taken the lead on several landmark transactions in Hungary and headed CEE transactions for various clients. Recently, she advised on complex M&A matters, e.g. the biggest oil and gas company in the CEE, listed on the Budapest and Warsaw stock exchanges; a world leader in food, environment, pharmaceutical and cosmetic products testing, listed on the Paris stock exchange; and Telenor Zrt, one of the biggest mobile operators in Hungary.
