Established in 1974, Formosa Transnational (FT) has endeavored in providing high-quality legal service, fostering social justice and advocating the rule of law. Two of the founding partners, Mr. KC Fan and Mr. Henry Rai, were respectively appointed to serve as the Secretary General and the President of the Juridical Yuan in 2003 and 2010 for their prominent reputation in the legal profession.

■ Assisting a British trading company in acquiring shares of a globally renowned chain of tea beverage company, including due diligence and compliance checks, agreement negotiation.

China-Related Practice:
FT assists clients to proceed in investment, build up IP portfolios, pursue legal protection for transactions and enforce intellectual property rights in China. FT also helps enterprises from China to pursue inbound investment in Taiwan. International Work: International work for clients in the US, Japan and Europe accounts for more than half of FT’s business. Most of FT attorneys have multijurisdictional legal training and are fluent in at least one foreign language.
