With attorneys licensed to practice in 10 different states, the firm routinely handles matters throughout the country.

Led by Kevin Hudson, Ward Lambert, and Brad Parrott—who amongst them boast almost a century of construction experience-- HLP represents a variety of public and private clients in a wide range of disputes, including those involving a professional sports stadium, federal prison, nuclear power plant, and large mixed-use developments. In the past two years, HLP has seen tremendous success in litigation, including amassing multiple jury verdicts and arbitration awards for its general contractor and large subcontractor clients.In addition to being zealous advocates in the courtroom, the firm serves as outside counsel advising clients on the day-to-day issues that arise on construction projects. As part of that advisory role, HLP has developed a proprietary task-based model wherein attorneys communicate with and guide clients’ executive leadership and project managers in real time. This collaborative approach allows client personnel to flag potential problems early to avoid disputes or better position themselves for early resolution thanks to proper documentation and legal advice. HLP’s role as advisor extends to drafting contract documents. In recent years, HLP attorneys have served as lead contract counsel of numerous seven- and eight-figure projects across the country, including projects in Arizona, Texas, Virginia, and North Carolina.
