Banking, Finance & Capital Markets:
KPS’s team has in-depth knowledge of all aspects of banking and finance sector, providing advice to local and international banks on corporate law and M&A, commercial contracts, financing projects and financial products. The firm is experienced in both project and asset finance, advising lenders and borrowers regarding loan documentation and collateral packages in various industries such as NPLs, infrastructure, energy, aviation and others. Competition:
The firm has extensive experience in advising and representing domestic and foreign clients before the Croatian Competition Agency regarding national and international merger control notifications, competition law infringement cases, such as cartels and prohibited agreements, and leniency regime. KPS regularly advises and represents domestic and foreign clients before Croatian courts in various litigious and non-litigious matters, as diverse as commercial, property, shareholders, employment, insurance, damages, etc. The team’s experience covers also alternative dispute resolution methods, predominantly advising and representing clients in international and domestic arbitration. KPS has extensive experience in enforcing claims and regularly provides advice on legal aspects of bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy proceedings and their influence on planned projects. It also represents creditors in the respective proceedings.

Energy Law:
The firm has a strong background in energy law and energy infrastructure projects providing legal advisory services to companies producing and trading in energy. KPS participated in a number of development projects for wind, co-generation and biomass plants, gaining considerable knowledge in the renewables sector. Data Protection & Compliance:
The firm regularly provides legal advice on data protection and other compliance matters. After the adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation, the firm’s compliance team first provided legal opinions on the novelties brought by the GDPR. Now it provides legal advice in GDPR projects for a large number of clients from various industries, such as banking, healthcare, transport or trade, and provides service of a data protection officer.
