Miles Benham - Managing Director
Miles co-founded MannBenham in 1997 and has overseen its expansion into a full-service business law firm. In addition to being a Manx Advocate, Miles is regularly appointed to act as a liquidator in respect of Manx entities. Miles is heavily involved in eGaming and the provision of gaming services to firms and individuals wishing to use the Isle of Man.
Carly Stratton – Director, Head of Business & eGaming
Carly is a qualified Manx Advocate - a well-respected corporate and commercial lawyer who in addition to heading up the Commercial Department is also the head of MannBenham’s eGaming team. Carly specialises in corporate, business regulatory and eGaming matters, and acts for venture capitalists, equity houses listed companies and individuals in respect of all their corporate and business needs.
Christopher Webb – Director, Head of Litigation
Christopher in addition to being a Manx Advocate is an English Solicitor (Non-Practicing) Notary Public, an Associate of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators and CEDR Accredited Mediator. Christopher heads up the Litigation and Employment team and specialists in Court and Tribunal Advocacy, Commercial and Civil Litigation, Employment Disputes and Insolvency. In addition to Court and Tribunal work Christopher regularly represents clients in Mediations and has acted as a mediator in a number of Manx cases. Christopher regularly appears before the Courts and Tribunals of the Isle of Man.

Jacqui Owens - Senior Advocates
Jacqui has spent the last 35 years as a Litigator originally in London with such firms as Stephenson Harwood LLP and Hogan Lovells. She specialises in all areas of dispute resolution, but has recently been involved in a contract dispute concerning PPE, proceedings in the winding up of a large local CSP and a dispute regarding electronic disclosure.
Chris Grimson - Senior Advocate
Chris is an experienced Advocate who specialises in medical negligence, personal injury civil and employment disputes.

Commercial Litigation
MannBenham has a thriving Commercial practice centered on High Court and Chancery litigation. In the main, made up of contractual disputes, fraud and asset-tracing, injunctive remedies, and shareholder disputes. MannBenham has strong links with gaming and payroll companies along with CSP Accountants and other service providers. The Team regularly advises and appear in matters relating to commercial disputes.
Civil Litigation
MannBenham regularly represents individuals in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury cases. The Team also regularly appears in Land and Building disputes and Debt matters.
Employment Disputes
MannBenham appears for firms/individuals in respect of Employment disputes both before the Tribunal and in the High Courts. MannBenham acts for a number of Trade Unions in respect of their members and in the prosecuting/defending of a number of “restraint of trade” and thefts of intellectual property claims. MannBenham is happy representing either the employee or employer and seeks to ensure the most pragmatic advice is provided.
Insolvency
MannBenham acts for liquidators, Trustees, distressed bond holders, creditors, shareholders and directors in respect of liquidations, and resulting fraud, asset recovery and constructive trust proceedings.
ADR
MannBenham has a strong alternative dispute resolution practice, and regularly appears in matters which have been referred to mediation and/or arbitration.
Trusts and Estates
MannBenham regularly appears in the High Courts in Trust disputes, Section 61 of the Trustee Act 1961 application and matters relating to Trust disputes and specifically those relating to pension funds and Time share cases.
Family Proceedings
Advocates from MannBenham regularly appear in the Family courts on all matters.
MannBenham receives a large number of instructions from London, City and regional firms, as well as overseas law and accounting firms.
