Intellectual Property
The firm is specialized in all areas of IP law, from drafting patent claims, trademark prosecution to negotiating and executing licenses related to intellectual and industrial property rights.

One of TMI's foremost disciplines is domain name litigation and domain protection. Its anti-piracy enforcement team has one of the most intensive practices in Mexico, where TMI is considered a leading expert.

TMI is responsible for approximately 90% of copyright infringement cases in Mexico. Copyright enforcement, particularly in software, is a key area of focus for our firm. The firms practice has expanded to prosecuting and enforcing copyrights in digital media, particularly with respect to internet notice-and-takedown procedures.

TMI are the firm with the most significant number of registered and ongoing processes regarding declarations of famous trademarks and well-known trademarks and their corresponding renewals.

TMI has a strong practice focused on Alternative Dispute Resolution("ADR") and its lawyers participate in mediation and arbitration proceedings as counsel to parties or arbitrators. TMI has vast expertise related to Cyberspace Law in Mexico. Life Sciences & Nanotechnology
The biotech practice has advised the Mexican government on decisive policy and legal IP issues, including the patentability of genetic-related inventions and nanotechnological development patents.
