The team acts for a large number of highly reputable private sector clients (including well-known brands) as well as a large number of public and educational sector clients, and continues to grow their varied and impressive client base.

The team conducts a large volume of employment related litigation and regularly conducts advocacy in the Employment Tribunals. In addition, it provides strategic advice on reorganisations, TUPE and key legal developments and works closely with other legal departments (such as corporate, property, commercial, pension and tax) to provide a complete service to clients. The team also has specialist knowledge and experience in advising employer clients on methods of protecting their business interests from departing senior employees and has advised on the construction / enforceability of post-termination restrictions on numerous occasions.

The team also works collaboratively with other legal departments within the Firm (such as corporate, property, commercial and litigation) and is also part of the Firm’s ‘EPIC’ offering (the Employment, Pensions and Immigration Collaboration), providing a composite support service for HR, pension and business immigration, whether in routine circumstances or on complex, sensitive matters.
