The attorneys of our national litigation practice have the experience and insight to present compelling arguments to appellate courts at any level, and to work with trial counsel to best preserve issues for appeal. We regularly appear before the Supreme Court of the United States — in oral argument and on brief — winning several landmark decisions. Our attorneys also appear before every federal court of appeals and state supreme and appellate courts throughout the United States.
Our team includes former judges and arbiters who recognize the importance of a comprehensive strategy and effective written and oral advocacy. Among them are a former chief justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, former state solicitors general, and a former high-ranking U.S. government appellate advocate. Many of our appellate attorneys are former law clerks for Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court, judges of the state supreme courts, and federal courts of appeals.
