Practice Areas
Focuses on the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds. His experience covers a broad array of private fund strategies, including leveraged buyout, special situations, distressed debt and loan origination funds, and private business development companies. Adrian’s career has had a significant focus on establishing funds with inventive and unusual structures, including evergreen funds, permanent capital vehicles, hybrid structures and long-dated funds. He also advises fund sponsors in connection with negotiating “seed” investments, joint ventures and other internal arrangements.
In addition to his regular practice, Adrian has significant pro bono experience, including working with a number of leading non-profit sponsors raising funds to address a wide range of significant social issues. He is a frequent speaker on private funds matters at industry roundtables and conferences and regularly engages in thought leadership.
Career
