Akshay Deoras is a trial lawyer in Kirkland’s Bay Area office focusing on patent infringement and trade secret litigation in federal courts and the US International Trade Commission. His practice focuses on high-stakes disputes both asserting and defending intellectual property rights in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, semiconductors, computer hardware and software, medical devices, and pharmaceuticals. He has obtained significant jury trial victories in competitor versus competitor disputes for plaintiffs and defendants. In 2022, Akshay was named a Rising Star by Law360 for Intellectual Property and recognized as top 40 under 40 by the Daily Journal. He was also recommended in the 2021 Legal 500 as a “rising star in IP litigation, with excellent knowledge of both IP law as well as the technologies at issue in a case.”
