His previous experience includes being part of the team of lawyers at Wald e Associados Advogados for 8 years, in the area of litigation (civil and tax), and was also an associate at Ernst Young (EY) in its New York-USA office, where he owrked in the Financial Services area for 2 years. After that, he was a partner at Bocater Advogados for 8 years, co-leading the tax practice.

He is also a former Counselor of the Municipal Council of Taxes of São Paulo and Former Judge of the Court of Taxes and Fees of the State of São Paulo.

His academic experience includes being currently a Professor of the Specialization Course in International Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT, a Professor of the LL.M. of Tax Law at PUC-CAMP, an Assistant Professor of the Master's Program in Economic, Financial and Tax Law at USP, and a former Assistant Professor at the Graduation Course at the University of São Paulo (2009-2013).
