André Macedo is a partner in BMA’s Superior Courts, Government Relations, and Compliance, Investigations and Regulatory Enforcement practice areas.
He has extensive experience in representing clients’ interests before government agencies, National Congress, the federal public accounts review board, the federal prosecution service and Brazil’s highest courts (the Supreme Federal Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Superior Labor Appeals Court) and especially the Federal District Appeal Court and the 1st Region Federal Appeal Court.
André is an Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Law at the Universidade de Brasília - UnB.
He served as a Judge of the Federal District Regional Electoral Court for the 2016/2018 term, and taught Civil Procedure Law at UniCEUB - Centro Universitário de Brasília and in the undergraduate and graduate programs at IESB - Institute of Higher Education in Brasília.
André was Assistant National Justice Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, and Assistant to a Justice of the Superior Labor Appeals Court and of the National Justice Council.
