Partner. Antonio Barba has extensive experience in advising on tax matters, particularly focusing on international tax; regularly advising Spanish companies investing abroad and foreign companies investing in Spain on legal and tax matters. His practice focuses primarily on tax matters related to complex international project finance such as building and managing build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects (e.g., desalination, electrical installations, highways, and transmission lines) and acquiring assets (mainly ships, airplanes, and renewable energy assets).
Career
He lectures on EU tax law and international tax planning in several law-related master programs at IE Business School and ESADE Business & Law School and is a regular speaker on international taxation topics.

A member of the International Bar Association's Taxes Committee, he is responsible for selecting technical topics for conferences that the organization updates and coordinating speakers and publications. Expert in International Taxation with the Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEDAF).
