Armelle Sandrin-Deforge's practice focuses on French, European, and international environmental law and regulatory issues. Her experience covers climate change and sustainable development, industrial facilities, contaminated sites, waste and circular economy, renewable energy, marine and coastal environmental issues. In addition to advising on regulatory and litigation matters, Armelle has extensive experience in environmental issues related to M&A and capital markets transactions, particularly in environmental audits, environmental representation, warranties and environmental risk factors. She also advises French and international clients with respect to ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting pursuant to French and European regulations such as duty of vigilance, Taxonomy, CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), and deforestation, as well as on greenwashing risks associated with ESG communications and commitments.
