Brendan is an experienced trial lawyer with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation, shareholder and employment disputes, fraud, defamation, professional liability, and civil sexual assault. As counsel to both plaintiffs and defendants, Brendan has a record of success guiding his clients through their most challenging legal problems. Brendan has appeared before all levels of courts, including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also represents clients before courts of other provinces and various administrative tribunals such as the Capital Markets Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal, and the discipline tribunals of the Ontario College of Massage Therapists and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Brendan is consistently listed by Lexpert and Best Lawyers as a leading specialist in corporate commercial litigation, medical negligence, and defamation. He is Co-Chair of Lenczner Slaght’s Student Committee and regularly speaks on panels about the practice of law and the legal profession.
