A partner and member of BLG’s Capital Markets Group, Carol practises securities law, specializing in digital assets, derivatives, and the development of innovative investment fund products. She advises on a number of leading-edge transactions and matters in the digital asset space, including the registration of crypto asset trading platforms, the creation of investment vehicles focused on investments in digital assets and the offering of new digital assets, such as non-fungible tokens. In addition to her digital asset practice, Carol works extensively for managers of investment funds, particularly in the area of product development, and has a substantial derivatives practice, including negotiating documentation, advising on regulatory compliance matters, and developing new derivatives-based investment products. Regular speaker at seminars and conferences on digital assets, derivatives, and investment funds. Recipient of the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) 2017 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award. Recognized as a leader in her field by Derivatives Week.
