Career
Chris is recognised within and outside the firm as a leading lawyer in the area, working in the main with financial services and professional services clients, and with a focus on high value and reputationally significant discrimination and whistle-blowing claims.
The fact that other law firms regularly instruct Chris on complicated matters shows the regard Chris is held in and he continues to lead on the most significant matters in employment. Chris regularly provides advice, and has a particular specialism in providing advice, to financial services firms and law firms on matters which involve regulatory issues (the FCA for financial services, and the SRA for law firms). This includes providing advice in the complex areas of #metoo complaints, bullying allegations and harassment claims.
Chris also has particular expertise in protection of business interests matters, including disputes in the High Court around team moves and confidentiality disputes.
Chris also brings to bear in his work his experience in various management roles for Clyde & Co; he is a member of Clyde &Cos UK board, chairs our moderation and salary committees, and is a Diversity and Inclusion Sponsor.
