Christian is an authority in the Mexican legal market, with over 20 years of experience in strategic mergers and acquisitions, competition and antitrust matters, and private wealth management. Acting as trusted advisor to his clients, he combines unrivalled market insight and an innovative analysis of the transaction at hand, always ensuring their best interest.

Christian represents clients in complex merger proceedings, particularly in regulated sectors and industries, as well as cartel investigations and abuse of market power.

In the area of wealth management, he advises and supports clients in relation to the legal structure and corporate governance of their businesses, the preparation of control trusts or those vehicles necessary for the better management and preservation of their assets, as well as the succession to their families.

Christian is an enthusiastic reader and is convinced of the importance of childhood education in Mexico. He therefore collaborates closely with civil society organizations dedicated to improving educational quality, acting as their pro bono legal counsel and on occasion in leadership positions.

Christian was an international attorney with the New York office of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton. He graduated with honors from University Anáhuac del Sur and he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Philosophy.

Christian has been recognized by multiple publications including Chambers and Partners, Latin Lawyer, IFLR1000, WWL and The Legal 500 as a thought leader and leading attorney in the practice of antitrust, mergers and acquisitions and corporate law in Mexico.

He is Galicia´s Co-Managing Partner as of January 2022 and he is also member of the Excecutive and Compensation Committees.
