Christina Paludan Melson has almost 20 years of experience in the field of public procurement, including more than 12 years of experience from the public and regulatory sector.
She mainly works in the field of public procurement, giving advice to both suppliers and contracting authorities in all stages of the procurement process.
She formerly worked as Specialist Director in the ministry responsible for public procurement. Melson was part of the secretariat for two law commissions appointed by the Norwegian Government. She played a vital role in the preparation of the public procurement legislation passed in 2016, implementing the 2014 public procurement directives into Norwegian Law and introducing new national legislation outside the scope of the directives.
In 2023, Melson was appointed as a board member of KOFA (the Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement).
