CHRIS SHENK is a co-leader of Sidley’s Telecom and Internet Competition practice. Chris provides regulatory, transactional and litigation counseling to wireline, wireless, video, media, software, artificial intelligence, and internet clients. He has represented clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), state regulatory agencies, state and federal district courts, and state and federal appellate courts. Chris has a broad range of experience in communications and internet-related litigation and regulatory matters, and has extensive knowledge in the areas of merger approvals, wireless services (including spectrum sales, leases and auctions), privacy, Internet backbone interconnection, dedicated services, local competition, Voice over Internet Protocol, video services, access charge regulation and intercarrier compensation.
