Cori Lable is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Hong Kong and a partner in Kirkland & Ellis LLP (U.S.). She is a member of the Firm’s Government & Internal Investigations Group. A widely recognized practitioner, Cori specializes in representing multinational clients throughout Asia in defense of cross-border government investigations and enforcement actions, and advising on risk management in international business transactions. She has extensive experience advising clients in the private equity, pharmaceutical, medical device, industrials, and financial services sectors regarding compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and other U.S. securities, export controls, anti-money laundering and health care fraud statutes, and has led numerous investigations across Asia, including in China, India, Japan, Korea and Malaysia.

Cori has for many years been named as a leading anti-corruption practitioner for India and China by Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global. Cori has been named as a “Litigation Star” for White Collar Crime by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific for three consecutive years from 2020 to 2022 and profiled in the list of “100 Women in Investigations 2021” by Global Investigations Review.
