Attorney Daniel Ding graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Fudan University. He has been practicing law for 25 years and is now the chief partner and director of Joius Law Firm. With his rich practical experience, attorney Ding is adept at identifying the key points of commercial cases, gaining insight into the positions and demands of the parties, finding the crux of the problem and formulating an effective solution. His greatest strength lies in his ability to reduce complex commercial disputes to real legal issues and then find practical solutions from a legal perspective. With this rational, pragmatic and efficient way of working, attorney Ding is widely trusted by clients in commercial disputes and widely recognized by the legal profession, for which he was awarded the Shanghai Youth May Fourth Medal and the honor of "Shanghai Outstanding Lawyer" from 2015 to 2018. Attorney Ding has held a number of positions in the Shanghai Bar Association. At the same time, attorney Ding is also active in public affairs, holding key positions in the Shanghai Jing'an District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Shanghai Youth Federation, Shanghai Jing'an District Youth Federation, Shanghai International Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Shanghai Blockchain Association, Shanghai Jing'an District Federation of Industry and Commerce, Shanghai Joint People's Mediation Committee for Securities, Funds and Futures Disputes, and CSI Small and Medium Investors Service Center. Attorney Ding is also active in the field of arbitration, serving as an arbitrator for the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SIETAC), Shenyang Arbitration Commission and Dalian International Arbitration Center.

Attorney Ding insists on combining practice and theory and has published a number of monographs. In March 2018, the book "Practice of Securities Law Practice for Lawyers", of which attorney Ding was the executive editor in chief and the group editor of the Municipal Law Association, was completed and published; in 2019, he edited "Practice and Case Analysis of Cross-border Debt Collection from Taiwan to Mainland China"; in 2020, he co-edited "Essential Knowledge and Legal Practice for Setting up and Operating Companies in China"; in October 2022, he co-edited "Cross-border Financing of Chinese Enterprises Legal Practice and Case Analysis of Cross-Border Financing of Chinese Enterprises", which was successfully selected in the "Shanghai Lawyers Series" of Shanghai Law Association in 2021; "Legal Regulation of Blockchain", which was co-edited in 2023, has been published. At the same time, Attorney Ding is also an adjunct professor and supervisor of master's degree students of two Shanghai universities, namely East China University of Political Science and Law and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

In addition, Attorney Ding led the firm to establish the first "Taiwan Young Legal Talent Practice Base" on the mainland in 2016 to promote the exchange of young legal talents across the Taiwan Strait. The practice base, which is attended by the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Minister of United Front Work, the Director of the Shanghai Municipal Taiwan Affairs Office and the Secretary of the Jing'an District Committee in charge of the inauguration and launching ceremony every year, was awarded the Top Ten News of Shanghai-Taiwan Exchange in 2016.
