Daniel Ilan leads the firm’s privacy & data security practice and also focuses his practice on artificial intelligence (and AI Governance), intellectual property law and technology.

He has significant experience in representing leading multinational corporations and private equity firms in privacy, data security, technology and IP issues arising in transactional contexts, particularly transactions involving acquisition or transfer of or investment in data assets, IP and technology. Daniel is also one of the leaders of the firm’s AI Practice.

Professional Memberships

Daniel is a member of the Advisory Board of the Cyber-Law Program in the International Cyber-Security Research Center at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, a prominent legal aid organization providing pro bono legal representation to artists, fashion designers and nonprofit arts and cultural organizations.

Daniel is a member of the New York Bar and the Israel Bar and is also a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
