Daniel is the joint managing partner of Withers KhattarWong and a partner in the corporate team.
Daniel specialises in investment funds and cross-border private equity and M&A transactions. He represents private fund managers, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and corporate clients specialising in the real estate, venture capital and private equity space. Daniel routinely advises on regulatory and licensing issues affecting fund managers and capital markets intermediaries in Singapore and manages complex fund formation and cross-border investment mandates in the Asia-Pacific region, including India and China.
Daniel started practising law as a State Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor with the Attorney General's Chambers in Singapore. He has been in private practice for more than 20 years with leading international firms and has been instrumental in establishing and growing an investment funds practice in these firms. His expertise in investment funds and corporate, mergers and acquisitions has been recognised by Chambers Asia-Pacific and IFLR1000.
