Dijen specialises in Judicial Review, Inquests and Inquiries, Employment Law, and Police Law. His experience as a doctor often gives him the edge in inquests, especially where there are complex scientific and medical questions to be answered. His work includes deaths in custody and following contact with the police, and unexpected deaths in hospital, both in the National Health Service and in the private sector. An earlier edition notes that he's “a creative thinker and an absolutely outstanding cross-examiner” and “an enormously impressive and engaging advocate, he is very precise both orally and in writing, and he takes no prisoners.”
