Ed specialises in providing advice to individuals, companies and government agencies in a wide range of complex criminal cases. His practice encompasses complex financial crime, money laundering and asset recovery in addition to homicide and serious organised crime.

As well as being a specialist advocate in jury trial and appeal litigation, Ed provides pre-litigation advice to individuals and companies on investigations into possible corporate wrong-doing, pre-trial case resolution and strategy.

Specialist forensic cross-examination of medical, scientific and financial experts.

Between 2022-24, Ed was instructed as lead prosecution counsel to the Anti-Corruption Commission Seychelles in a complex $100m corruption and money laundering case, involving multi-jurisdictional law enforcement and asset restraint.

In 2021, Ed chaired a review of the Criminal Justice System for the Criminal Bar Association, and is a former treasurer of the CBA.
