Emil Emanuilov heads the Litigation & Arbitration department at Kambourov & Partners. He has been with the firm for 18 years and is among the most recognised litigation and arbitration practitioners in Bulgaria.

Emil is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in all Bulgarian courts and domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He has acted in numerous groundbreaking cases and arbitration proceedings that have had a lasting impact on the Bulgarian legal framework.

He represents clients in a wide range of individual claims in all areas of business law, including banking and finance, corporate and commercial litigation, unfair competition, energy and project finance disputes, insurance disputes, IP litigation, procedures for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

He has considerable experience in multijurisdictional and multiparty litigation and international arbitration, securitization of claims, and exequatur procedures.
