Erik Sandtrø works with business law in general, focusing on bankruptcy and restructuring, real estate and corporate law. He is regularly appointed as trustee by the Probate and Bankruptcy Courts in Norway.
Career
Erik Sandtrø became partner in 2008 and served as managing partner from 2012 - 2019. He was re-elected as managing partner in 2023. From 2012-2018 he also served as chairman of the board of Ro Sommernes.
Sandtrø has given lectures in bankruptcy law for law students at Treider College and held a seat as moderator for the JUC network for insolvency.
Work Highlights
Broad experience in the insolvency and restructuring sector which covers many of the most renowned bankruptcy and restructuring cases throughout the last two decades, the more recent being i.a Thule Drilling AS, Norwegian AS, Gresvig AS, Dolphin Drilling ASA, EMAS-AMC AS, Prosafe AS and Havyard Ship Technology AS.
