Main practice area is insolvency and restructuring. Nils Holger Koefoed is a court-appointed trustee in bankruptcy and has handled many of the largest and most complex matters in Norway in recent years, including for companies operating on a global scale which have benefited from his considerable experience with cross-border insolvency issues. He regularly represents debtors and creditors complex restructuring proceedings.
Nils Holger Koefoed is a board member of the Norwegian Legal Education Association (“JUS”) for the legal areas of Bankruptcy, Debt Negotiations and Security. He is a recognised speaker within his area of law, both domestic and abroad.
Koefoed has co-written (together with colleague Harald Sommernes) the law commentary on the Norwegian Bankruptcy Act, the Creditors Security Act, and the temporary Act on Reconstruction, for Karnov Group.
