Evy is a Corporate and M&A partner and Head of the Startups & Venture Capital practice of the firm. She specializes in advising foreign and local companies on many aspects of Brazilian law, particularly in M&A, Corporate and Commercial Contracts. With 20 years’ experience advising foreign investors and Brazilian companies on complex international and domestic M&A transactions, Evy is particularly well known for advising tech companies and founders on structuring their digital businesses, investments rounds and M&A transactions, as well as on corporate matters. She has been working with venture capital mandates since 2016, when she created a specific team at Felsberg Advogados dedicated to such practice area. She is a mentor of various startups and an angel investor. She is also a member of the ABVCAP’s Venture Capital Committee and has served as a Professor of Corporate/M&A, Startups and Venture Capital at FGVLaw – Fundação Getúlio Vargas since 2014. Evy holds a PhD in Corporate Law from USP/SP, LL.M. in Corporate Law from the LSE - London School of Economics and Political Science – Santander Scholarship, LL.M. in Corporate Law from USP/SP, Postgraduate in Business Economics from FGV/SP and an LL.B. from USP/SP.
