Felipe has more than 15 years of experience on complex Corporate matters, including M&A transactions and cross-border acquisitions, as well as correlated arbitration and strategic litigation, with clients encompassing a range of leading companies, private equity sponsors and investment banks.
As co-head of VR1, the firm's Digital Transformation project, encompassing its Innovation and Venture Capital practices, Felipe acts as advisor, board member and investor in startups.
He developed a recognized expertise in regulatory affairs with the CVM, advising on corporate restructuring, takeover bids and administrative proceedings.
Felipe is also dedicated to an academic career as a professor at FGV Law Rio, teaching subjects related to takeover regulation, M&A, governance and entrepreneurship, and edits an annual collection of articles on corporate law and capital markets. Among such academic activities, Felipe conducts researches and publishes articles on a number of innovative regulatory matters, such as criptoassets, digital securities, NFTs, regulatory sandboxes.
